10th Annual Golf Tournament Sponsorship Information

Benefiting the Julian Snyder Endowment Scholarship Fund, the UB ASCE Student Chapter and the SAME Buffalo Post Scholarship Fund

For this event to be successful, we need your support and participation. The area where individuals and companies can provide the most support is in the form of sponsorship.

This tournament is the PRIMARY fund-raiser for both organization's scholarships and relies on your sponsorship.

Your sponsorship assists in the training and development of engineers who will become the future stewards of our nation's infrastructure!

Sponsors will receive recognition as outlined in the sponsorship levels below. In addition, the Buffalo Post will provide a writeup recognizing sponsorships in TME, the Military Engineer magazine! This year, we are once again aiming to 100% support and have a minimum of 18 teams! However, we can only do so with your support so please consider becoming a sponsor at one of the following sponsorship levels:

Tournament Sponsor

  • Logo placed on all tournament golf balls used as tournament gifts to each player

  • $1,000

  • $100 per Hole

Tournament Purse Sponsor

  • $400
  • If golfing isn't for you or your company but you would still like to be involved consider becoming the tournament purse sponsor. This sponsorship offsets the cost of the tournament winner’s prize or lunch, breakfast sponsorships, Company name/logo will be displayed on all tournament advertisements, event program and sponsor board.

Student Sponsor

  • Entry fee for one ASCE student to participate in the golf tournament as a golfer. Sponsoring company can request an ASCE student to golf in their four-some.

Scholarship Fund Donation

  • If golfing is not for you but you still want to be involved consider donating directly to the ASCE/SAME Scholarship Funds at one of the various donation levels: Level 1 - $50, Level 2 - $100, Level 3 - $200.

Prizes and Merchandise Donations

Prize Donations We also invite individuals and companies to provide merchandise donations - with or without company logos. This merchandise can be golf-related, but doesn’t have to be. We will also accept other monetary donations, from individuals as well as companies. To make a merchandise donation contact us via our Feedback Form.

Tax Benefit Your sponsorshop (or donation) to the ASCE Buffalo Section is tax deductible. A receipt with relevant tax information will be provided upon sponsorship.

We ask that all sponsorships be provided via check or card (online payment) prior to the event. However, we can accommodate at-the-door payments via check or card.

About the Scholarships

The Julian Snyder Endowment Fund Scholarship is two scholarships awarded annually to outstanding students within the civil engineering program at the University at Buffalo.

The Buffalo Post’s Scholarship is awarded annually and this year has been raised to $1000 with three scholarships being awarded!

Over the past 3 years the UB ASCE Student Chapter has utilized nearly $10,000 in support for vital initiatives within their program, recruitment of new members, attendance at National Conferences and progressing their Engineering Design Team projects (Steel Bridge Team, Concrete Canoe Team and Seismic Design Team).
